If you are already using Gmail or Microsoft 365? Prefer the "Login with Google" or "Login with Microsoft" option on the mailbox setup . See Connect a Mailbox with Gmail/Microsoft Outlook.
If you are using a provider other than Google or Microsoft, for example, Zoho, ProtonMail, Fastmail, Yahoo, iCloud, or a custom domain. NeetoDesk gives you a unique forwarding address. You set your existing provider to forward every incoming message to that address, and NeetoDesk turns each forwarded email into a ticket.
This forwarding setup uses NeetoDesk's outbound mail server, so agent replies won't appear in your original inbox like Gmail, Microsoft or a custom email server.
Connecting your existing inbox
Go to Admin Panel > Support Channels > Mailboxes.
Open the mailbox you want to connect, or click Add new mailbox to create one.
Select Forward from any inbox.
Copy the forwarding address shown at the top; it looks like
[email protected].Open the inbox you want to forward from in a new browser tab.
In your provider's settings, add a rule that forwards all incoming mail to the address you copied.

Other providers (ProtonMail, Fastmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc.): Search your provider's help center for "automatic forwarding" and use the NeetoDesk address as the destination.
Custom domain / IMAP server: Open your hosting control panel (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, etc.), look under Forwarders or Aliases, and add a forwarder from your support address to the NeetoDesk address.
