WhatsApp Integration

You can add your Whatsapp number to NeetoDesk. This way, if any customer sends messages to your Whatsapp number, those messages will appear as tickets in NeetoDesk. Agents can reply to WhatsApp messages from NeetoDesk itself.

To connect your Whatsapp number to NeetoDesk, you need the following things.

  1. Have a registered phone number in your name with voice call and SMS services enabled.

  2. Have a Facebook account.

Please note that the terminologies used by the Whatsapp team are confusing. We are trying our best to be as clear as possible in this document. Follow these steps to integrate your WhatsApp account with NeetoDesk

  1. Go to Settings > Support Channels > WhatsApp accounts and click Connect WhatsApp.

  2. Click on Onboard new business. This will redirect and open the embedded flow on Facebook.

  1. Follow the steps on Facebook's multi-step onboarding flow, where Facebook will guide you in onboarding your phone number. During the process, Facebook will create a WhatsApp business account, a WhatsApp business profile and a WhatsApp business platform. You can refer to this document for any help.

  2. Once you complete the Facebook onboarding steps, you will be redirected to NeetoDesk. Here, you need to select the phone number you use for WhatsApp. Select the phone number and click on Continue.

  3. You should have now successfully connected your WhatsApp with NeetoDesk. Any messages sent to your WhatsApp number would appear as tickets in NeetoDesk. Agents can reply to those tickets, and the replied messages will be sent to the customers on WhatsApp.
